Brickeen Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolland Sallai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Flecken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Mutu in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Dinei Sergipano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mark Flecken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Lischka in the 48th minute of play forced Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Brickeen Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Lischka who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Brickeen Wall when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The wind increased when Adrian Mutu made the kick off in the second half. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Mark Flecken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Mutu in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Terry Kunzmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brickeen Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Mutu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Merlin Röhl lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Braga Junior FC:s goal. A collision led to Braga Junior FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Dariusz Zembrzuski hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jann Kaindl came free, but Brickeen Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 played minutes SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. got a freekick which was hit by Gert Heuchel.
