Marcel Abreu started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes SuRpRiSe got a freekick which was hit by Przemyslaw Dec. After 3 played minutes SuRpRiSe got a freekick which was hit by Teofil Wielowiejski. After having played for 4 minutes, Dagoberto Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dagoberto Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Ferraz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakub Cielencki's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Fausto Ferraz made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Milosz Gibowski sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 14th minute of the game was made by Carlos Alberto Magalhães with Rui da Costa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Milosz Gibowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Ferraz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jakub Cielencki in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Caio Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Rui da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Augustyniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerzy Augustyniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's corner Kauã Vander fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jerzy Augustyniak quite easily take care of the ball. Jerzy Augustyniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Abreu in the 31st minute of the match. Jerzy Augustyniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui da Costa in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when SuRpRiSe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Dec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Ferraz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jakub Cielencki went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.

Fausto Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Gibowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 59th minute Milosz Gibowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When SuRpRiSe's Milosz Gibowski in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalie prevented a goal. Jerzy Augustyniak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui da Costa in the 63rd minute. Jakub Cielencki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Ferraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SuRpRiSe's Tymoteusz Zatorski got a free kick in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, SuRpRiSe's goalkeeper Jerzy Augustyniak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Abreu. Fausto Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Cielencki in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute Milosz Gibowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jakub Cielencki managed to get in a good position for a shot. SuRpRiSe's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakub Cielencki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jakub Cielencki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Ferraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Jakub Cielencki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Magalhães threw the ball into play from the sideline. SuRpRiSe's Przemyslaw Dec quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SuRpRiSe had won after a very even match.
