The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Luiz Eduardo Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Tróia in the 22nd minute of play forced TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Eduardo Tróia scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Salgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Wilton Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Wilton Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. When Luiz Eduardo Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Caskinha Sport Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Eduardo Tróia couldn't finish the play. Roque Roa made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Caskinha Sport Clube's Patryk Sikora. Luiz Eduardo Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. TAQUARI FC's Rodolfo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Tróia in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Caskinha Sport Clube's goalkeeper Leandro Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilton Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leandro Neves having to make a save. Leandro Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Vale in the 46th minute of play.

Caskinha Sport Clube made a substitution. Olavo Terra replaced Gernando Cardozo. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Eduardo Tróia to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Eduardo Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Salgado having to interfere. Patryk Sikora charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patryk Sikora the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. TAQUARI FC made a substitution. Kabiru Rotimi replaced Ernani Souto. Patryk Sikora kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Wilton Vale made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Neves. Caskinha Sport Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 62 played minutes Caskinha Sport Clube got a freekick which was hit by Patryk Sikora. Rodolfo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TAQUARI FC's Frank Lampard was substituted for Ismael Pilas. Caskinha Sport Clube made a substitution. Iván Zamorano replaced Luiz Eduardo Tróia. TAQUARI FC's Manoel Mandrak was substituted for Wilton Vale. Caskinha Sport Clube's attentive Patryk Sikora managed to snatch the ball when Roque Roa made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Mandrak in the 73rd minute of play forced Caskinha Sport Clube's goalkeeper Leandro Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iván Zamorano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When TAQUARI FC's Manoel Mandrak in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caskinha Sport Clube's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, TAQUARI FC's Rodolfo Salgado got control of the ball when Iván Zamorano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute Manoel Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Salgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iván Zamorano in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. TAQUARI FC had won after a very even match.
