Blagoy Gardakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Peter-Michael Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Janusze Futbolu's goalkeeper Peter-Michael Schmeichel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blagoy Gardakov. Wuilker Fariñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Jaktorowo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blagoy Gardakov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel made a huge save. Peter-Michael Schmeichel made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Garci Vaz sent off a good shot on target. Wuilker Fariñez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Jaktorowo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel got control of the ball when Blagoy Gardakov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Estudiantes de Merida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaaf Van Den Wijngaert to maneuver through the defense. Çağdaş Quaresma struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Wuilker Fariñez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Janusze Futbolu. Wuilker Fariñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Caniglia in the 32nd minute of play. Peter-Michael Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blagoy Gardakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Emiliano Lesardo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Peter-Michael Schmeichel. When Danny Carey came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Janusze Futbolu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danny Carey couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de Merida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Carey came free, but Wuilker Fariñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Emiliano Lesardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Roch Banan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danny Carey to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danny Carey in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wuilker Fariñez saved Estudiantes de Merida FC from getting behind. Danny Carey took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wuilker Fariñez. Wuilker Fariñez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Devlet Toper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Wuilker Fariñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danny Carey succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 70th playminute. In the 77th minute, Blagoy Gardakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blagoy Gardakov kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. René Descartes kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Wuilker Fariñez made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Danny Carey sent off a good shot on target. Peter-Michael Schmeichel had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping René Descartes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 95th minute, Honorio Lario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes de Merida FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Janusze Futbolu succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Estudiantes de Merida FC had controlled the match.
