Jeremy Nicholas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the New England Minas defense, Mehat Kovaçi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremy Nicholas. The New England Minas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremy Nicholas should have stopped the shot. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 30th minute of the match. Ismael Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Mehat Kovaçi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremy Nicholas. New England Minas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehat Kovaçi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Pacheco in the 38th minute of play. Equipo's Ismael Furman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Equipo from getting a goal against them. Ismael Furman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Silva in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Equipo's Mehat Kovaçi got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehat Kovaçi to strike the kick off in the second half. With a left leg Ismael Furman saved Equipo from getting behind. Sid Todd kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
