The corner ended in Amílton Marinho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Under 18 Universe's Tahsin Orguntay did a great save. 22 minutes into the match, Osman Ali Seyyid notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy. Édouard Mendy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Wilson Matorin made a precise shot to the right of Tahsin Orguntay. Under 18 Universe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 33rd minute of the match, Jefferson Maia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tahsin Orguntay saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 35th minute Osman Ali Seyyid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tahsin Orguntay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Maia in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo Soares in the 41st minute of play forced Under 18 Universe's goalkeeper Tahsin Orguntay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Osman Ali Seyyid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osman Ali Seyyid in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osman Ali Seyyid stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Under 18 Universe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Al-Fajuth the free kick. The supporters of Al-Fajuth booed when Under 18 Universe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göktuğ Boysel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maicon Zanette took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tahsin Orguntay. Under 18 Universe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Osman Ali Seyyid cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Édouard Mendy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 77 minutes into the match, Under 18 Universe's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Soares came free, but Tahsin Orguntay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tahsin Orguntay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Marinho in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match Maicon Zanette shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tahsin Orguntay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 81st minute, Rômulo Soares made a precise shot to the right of Tahsin Orguntay. Under 18 Universe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 85th minute, Samim Kolçak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Édouard Mendy. The goal made the score 4-3. Tahsin Orguntay came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Al-Fajuth's Eliseu Alagoano. But to his dismay, Eliseu Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. 95 minutes into the match, Wilson Matorin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tahsin Orguntay. Under 18 Universe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilson Matorin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-3. Al-Fajuth's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
