The audience was convinced that Seoirse McJon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anibal Aritza was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 16th minute, David Evis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Baldovino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Anibal Aritza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Gavino Egoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Anibal Aritza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as David Evis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomas Baldovino. That made the score 2-1 in the 28 minute of play. Teodoro Aurre hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Tomas Baldovino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Evis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Evis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
