The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amancio Luke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Chapui having to interfere. In the 13th minute Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Chapui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Telesforo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from D.J. Hankins in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Echeverri in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Chapui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cable a Tierra's Amancio Luke got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Echeverri in the 33rd minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Ian Chapui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur Sousa came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leonides Telesforo could save by the left post. Ian Chapui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Echeverri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cable a Tierra's Leonides Telesforo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keenan Worthington in the 45th minute of play. Cable a Tierra's Leonides Telesforo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Cable a Tierra from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Chu Zheng Yu replaced D.J. Hankins. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan to make the kick off. Ian Chapui made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan sent off a good shot on target. Leonardo Sigali hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Chu Zheng Yu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Leonides Telesforo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Keenan Worthington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cable a Tierra's Luciano Urtungo was substituted for Amancio Luke. Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Chapui having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Echeverri got free with Ian Chapui in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ian Chapui made a huge save. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Ian Chapui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Urtungo in the 82nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ian Chapui. That made the score 0-1 in the 85 minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Quincy Walker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Miami Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cable a Tierra the free kick. After 93 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Quincy Walker. The long shot by Saverio Mercurio in the 94th minute really tested Ian Chapui's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Arthur Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cable a Tierra's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
