Aaron Jokin was slow to take the kick. During this time Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Bengt-Arne Åberg managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Franz Dubosq made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Åberg in the 29th minute of play. With a little luck, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Generoso Gonzalez got control of the ball when Dorian do Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in Dorian do Vale almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Generoso Gonzalez did a great save. With a little luck, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Generoso Gonzalez got control of the ball when Walmir Pontes tried to sneak it across the goal line.
