Nicolas Geleberto hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Ignacio Goiz scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cleto Erramun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cleto Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Leizarraga in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, CAMBIAR NOMBRE's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Gonsalve came free, but Pablo Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, CAMBIAR NOMBRE's Lázaro Kirchner got a free kick in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the match, CAMBIAR NOMBRE's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Eduino came free, but Pablo Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Erramun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Leizarraga in the 37th minute of the match. Inocencio Derwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Pablo Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Adan Piorno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of CAMBIAR NOMBRE booed when Arrecifes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Eduino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horacio Milian made a kick off. When Adan Piorno fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arrecifes's protests and gave Adan Piorno a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Arrecifes getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Adan Piorno hit a great ball. CAMBIAR NOMBRE were furious when Celso Eusko was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 69th match minute, CAMBIAR NOMBRE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Eusko to maneuver through the defense. Arrecifes's Alejandro Fonda was substituted for Cayetano Gonsalve. Arrecifes made a substitution. Modesto Mikolas replaced Raul Eduino. Arrecifes's Fermin Llope was substituted for Gaspar Azeari. 72 minutes into the match, CAMBIAR NOMBRE's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Derwin came free, but Pablo Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Modesto Mikolas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 96 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's Modesto Mikolas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pablo Petrigai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
