The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronald Mc Donald got free with Fernandez Villaelrriego in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Átomo F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Douglas Douglas in the 83rd minute. Átomo F.C.'s Douglas Douglas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fernandez Villaelrriego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Átomo F.C.'s Dorival Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xelo Fernandes in the 88th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Átomo F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
