Gerardo Oalo had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Anacleto Soin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Fernández to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Charly Tevez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
