Frank McLintock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Luiz Corrêa made a huge save. Iron Maiden Football's Enéas Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Andrejević in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goal looked a bit too open when Frank McLintock came free, but Luiz Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, José Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enéas Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dean Harvey in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Andrejević in the 32nd minute of play forced Iron Maiden Football's goalkeeper Enéas Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half ROSÁRIO SPORT were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 58th minute Ahmet Nasir Nesefi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Iron Maiden Football's Enéas Tepedino got control of the ball when Kadim Koçubey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iron Maiden Football's Enéas Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Iron Maiden Football from getting a goal against them. Sten Andrejevićs short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Enéas Tepedino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 94th minute Tony Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ROSÁRIO SPORT succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Iron Maiden Football had controlled the match.
