An unexpectedly hard shot by Toro Martínez in the 9th minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Toro Martínez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Despidida AFC from getting a goal against them. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toro Martínez in the 19th minute of play. When Toro Martínez came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Despidida AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toro Martínez couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute of the game Anfilogino Manzi made a throw-in which Daniel Löfgren played forward. 33 minutes into the match, Toro Martínez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glenn Fyfe. A4p FC Gad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toro Martínez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Purcărete in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th minute, A4p FC Gad's Dumitru Purcărete ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernando Selatse. Fernando Selatse yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. A4p FC Gad's Daniel Löfgren got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and James Batistuta made a kick off. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliksas Fenichev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glenn Fyfe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 55 minutes A4p FC Gad's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fulgencio Furman who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Despidida AFC's Fulgencio Furman to fire away a dangerous shot which Glenn Fyfe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Löfgren in the 56th minute of play. Despidida AFC's Czeslaw Kopacz was substituted for Ancho Branca. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Szymon Pyrzyce replaced Arturo Arano. In the 59th minute A4p FC Gad were awarded a corner. Marcin Pachucki went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led A4p FC Gad's Marcin Pachucki to fire away a dangerous shot which Fernando Selatse despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 77th minute Dominik Fink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despidida AFC were furious when Oliver Rizzo was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Despidida AFC! The referee gave A4p FC Gad a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marcin Pachucki, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse. 2-3. With his leg Glenn Fyfe managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 89th minute Dominik Fink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save A4p FC Gad from getting a goal against them. The A4p FC Gad supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Despidida AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Despidida AFC.
