In the 11th minute, Baldomiro Guerrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Yupandú FC's Teofilo Izel got a free kick in the 14th minute. Luis Bastia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Tiadoro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luis Bastia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Bastia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Rosio in the 24th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Eustaquio Tiadoro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Bastia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Luis Bastia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Tiadoro in the 39th minute of the match. 46 minutes in the game, Teo Fero fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tomás Maule having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustaquio Tiadoro to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Tiadoro notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Yupandú FC's Luis Bastia. Luis Bastia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eustaquio Tiadoro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luis Bastia came out and tried to block the shot, but Eustaquio Tiadoro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 57th minute. In the 62nd match minute, Yupandú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Fero to maneuver through the defense. Feliciano Cordeal lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yupandú FC! When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Baldomiro Guerrero got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luis Bastia. A collision led to Bendito Sea El Fernet getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Marcial Rosio hit a great ball. In the 87th minute Teofilo Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yupandú FC's Luis Bastia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Yupandú FC from getting a goal against them. Marciano Maidana's late challenge caught a Bendito Sea El Fernet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marciano Maidana helped the player get up and apologised. Marciano Maidana hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Bendito Sea El Fernet were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Yupandú FC side.
