Yan Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flaco López's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Clube do Remo MZ's Yan Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flaco López in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, JFSP's Flaco López nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yan Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Flaco López scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yan Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yan Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flaco López's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After 19 played minutes Clube do Remo MZ got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguinho Duarte. Evandro Pinho's late challenge caught a JFSP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evandro Pinho helped the player get up and apologised. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clube do Remo MZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Denílson do Nascimento was slow to take the kick. During this time JFSP's players had a chance to rest. Evandro Pinho thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Yan Barros, a very annoying self made goal in the 22nd minute which led to 0-3. 26 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's Luiz Fernando Pena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Võ Gozali narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flaco López scored 0-4 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yan Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yan Barros came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by JFSP's Flaco López. But to his dismay, Flaco López quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After some careless play in the Clube do Remo MZ defense, Flaco López kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yan Barros. The Clube do Remo MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yan Barros should have stopped the shot. Flaco López took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yan Barros. Yan Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flaco López in the 46th minute of play forced Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Yan Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Allan da Silveira was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Flaco López made a precise shot to the right of Yan Barros. Clube do Remo MZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. JFSP's Matheus Quirino was substituted for Pedro Paulo Peixoto. When Clube do Remo MZ's Allan da Silveira in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JFSP's goalie prevented a goal. After 69 played minutes JFSP got a freekick which was hit by Pietro Sales. Pietro Sales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, JFSP's Flaco López ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yan Barros. Yan Barros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. After 82 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JFSP and the Clube do Remo MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luiz Eduardo Montenegro hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Flaco López ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yan Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Võ Gozali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio de Lima in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Flaco López had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yan Barros. Clube do Remo MZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flaco López was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. The JFSP players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
