The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Ezequiel Meira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yan Barros was a little too slow when Jeferson Vasconcelos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Clube do Remo MZ's Afonso Paraíba in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zuera Never End MZC's goalie prevented a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Allan da Silveira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Zuera Never End MZC's Afonsinho Sampaio. Afonsinho Sampaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan da Silveira in the 16th minute of play forced Zuera Never End MZC's goalkeeper Afonsinho Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Aguiar came free, but Yan Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vivaldo Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeferson Vasconcelos in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yan Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Clube do Remo MZ booed when Zuera Never End MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Jeferson Vasconcelos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yan Barros, 2-1. In the 39th minute Anselmo Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yan Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Meira in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan da Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. Yan Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute, Anselmo Aguiar made a precise shot to the right of Yan Barros. Clube do Remo MZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Afonsinho Sampaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan da Silveira in the 61st minute. Vivaldo Soeiro hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When Jailson de Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Zuera Never End MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jailson de Amaral couldn't finish the play. Jeferson Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonsinho Sampaio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rodriguinho Duarte. Clube do Remo MZ's Yan Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Vasconcelos in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Clube do Remo MZ getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Evandro Pinho hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zuera Never End MZC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Clube do Remo MZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
