In the 12th match minute, Skeagh Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brennan Sheridan to maneuver through the defense. Britt Byrne charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Britt Byrne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Skeagh Utd got a freekick which was hit by Britt Byrne. In the 34th minute, Aiakos Vassilopulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Skeagh Utd's Britt Byrne managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aiakos Vassilopulos in the 39 minute of the game. Aigimios Proussalidi hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Michalis Stamatelopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacey Tracy in the 42nd minute of play. Haides Kapsimalles's late challenge caught a Skeagh Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haides Kapsimalles helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes Xénia BC got a freekick which was hit by Haides Kapsimalles. Cacey Tracy did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Michalis Stamatelopoulos 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Plouton Pantelakos was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Skeagh Utd's Cacey Tracy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michalis Stamatelopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60thth minute of the game Cacey Tracy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xénia BC's Michalis Stamatelopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Aiakos Vassilopulos fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xénia BC's protests and gave Aiakos Vassilopulos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Xénia BC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Aiakos Vassilopulos hit a great ball. Philip Palmer, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Michalis Stamatelopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cacey Tracy went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christos Giannopoulos during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Xénia BC's Christos Giannopoulos got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xénia BC's goalkeeper Michalis Stamatelopoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Cacey Tracy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cacey Tracy during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Skeagh Utd got a freekick which was hit by Cacey Tracy. If Cacey Tracy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute, Rylie Murphy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Plouton Pantelakos in the 90th minute of play forced Skeagh Utd's goalkeeper Boru Savic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes Xénia BC got a freekick which was hit by Aiakos Vassilopulos. Michalis Stamatelopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cacey Tracy's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
