Jaime Venceslao came out of the goal and Ulises Lope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute Luis Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Eladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ex Inferis's Isaac Eladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Romero in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Montrelle in the 18th minute of play forced Ex Inferis's goalkeeper Isaac Eladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ex Inferis defense, Jeronimo Bento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac Eladio. The Ex Inferis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Eladio should have stopped the shot. Alberto Refugio charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Refugio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Alberto Refugio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes, Ex Inferis's Lino Franco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaime Venceslao came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ex Inferis reached it. Estrellas de Caballito's Jaime Venceslao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Estrellas de Caballito from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute Ex Inferis were awarded a corner. Lino Franco went to the cornerflag to take it. Ex Inferis's Ciro Eusko managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anselmo Pitin in the 33 minute of the game. If Silvio Artal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Ex Inferis got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Eusko. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Romero in the 40th minute of play forced Ex Inferis's goalkeeper Isaac Eladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Artal scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaime Venceslao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Luis Romero made the kick off in the second half. Isaac Eladio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Montrelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Refugio kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Isaac Eladio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Montrelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Ex Inferis's Silvio Artal got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Ex Inferis's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Montrelle came free, but Isaac Eladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Romero scored 1-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaac Eladio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvio Artal hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Isaac Eladio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Montrelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When the match was over Estrellas de Caballito could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ex Inferis throughout the match.
