After 7 played minutes, Los Gallos's Fernando Osoitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baltasar Meder came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Gallos reached it. Baltasar Meder didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Baltasar Meder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Luar, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 15th minute Guido Luar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Meder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes, Tomas Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Gallos and the Leones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Los Gallos got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Vidal. Joel Umea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Hori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guido Luar's late challenge caught a Leones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guido Luar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Los Gallos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Luar to maneuver through the defense. Alejo Carlomagno struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Baltasar Meder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Gallos. In the 35th minute, Serafin Hori left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leones FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Los Gallos's Serafin Abechuco got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alejo Carlomagno made a kick off. Edgardo Calvino hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 54 minutes of play Los Gallos's Guido Luar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 59th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Sabin to maneuver through the defense. Baltasar Meder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Bertran went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the match, Serafin Hori notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Los Gallos's Joel Umea. Joel Umea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Dante Mannie got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Edgardo Calvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Hori in the 85th minute of play forced Los Gallos's goalkeeper Joel Umea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes in the game, Serafin Hori dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Serafin Hori cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Joel Umea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Gallos fully deserved thier win.
