In the 8thth minute of the game Johnathan Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alijilán returns's Lino Naelio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Johnathan Valle scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lino Naelio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lino Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrad Elliott in the 14th minute of the match. Dillon McDonough was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Ismael Esiquio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ismael Esiquio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 23 minutes into the game, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Johnathan Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lino Naelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Angel Leguizamón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Dillon McDonough made a huge save. In the 30th minute Johnathan Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Naelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alijilán returns's Lino Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrad Elliott in the 31st minute of play. Racing Miami Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Alijilán returns's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tod Goss took the corner. In the 34th minute, Johnathan Valle made a precise shot to the right of Lino Naelio. Alijilán returns's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Tod Goss struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Lino Naelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Miami Futbol Club. Dillon McDonough made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ismael Esiquio sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrad Elliott in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Naelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lino Naelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hal Marks, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicky Cavazos made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Nicky Cavazos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Lino Naelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Sagrario in the 57th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Dillon McDonough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abe Hoyt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Abe Hoyt. 60 minutes into the match, Alijilán returns's Cesar Sagrario broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dillon McDonough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Bide in the 62nd minute of the match. Ismael Esiquio kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Lino Naelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Cavazos, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Lino Naelio was a little too slow when Nicky Cavazos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-5. A collision led to Racing Miami Futbol Club getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cameron Bliss hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Americo Cefero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Racing Miami Futbol Club getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Hal Marks hit a great ball. Hal Marks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Naelio having to interfere. Alijilán returns's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Nicky Cavazos scored to the left of an out of position Lino Naelio, making the score, 1-6. In the 90th minute, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Nicky Cavazos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lino Naelio. Lino Naelio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. A collision led to Alijilán returns getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Cesar Sagrario hit a great ball. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Dillon McDonough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Leguizamón in the 96th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Hal Marks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Hal Marks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Naelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Alijilán returns supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Racing Miami Futbol Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Racing Miami Futbol Club.
