Mano Hume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apat Machado in the 32nd minute of play. Mano Hume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oso Ted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Teofilo Maidana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mano Hume was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 49th minute of the match Utopía Muerta FC got a corner. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fermin Martinez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofilo Maidana to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Severo Bermudo came free, but Armando Basajaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
