Jens Molander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 10 played minutes ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ got a freekick which was hit by Diego Mederi. Gavino Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Bock in the 11th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Amancio Federigo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Amancio Federigo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Amancio Federigo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Amancio Federigo hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Vistruario came free, but Jens Molander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as The Shadows's Yuma Suzuki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gavino Orlan. That made the score 1-2 after 26 minutes of play. Jens Molander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Rozarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Lisandro Tomi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Vistruario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute Hermengildo Bertol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Molander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Thomas Häll managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Shadows's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Häll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavino Orlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s zone, Thomas Häll stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Orlan came out of the goal and Thomas Häll tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Bock in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ made a substitution. Carolo Goi replaced Saverio Ladio. The referee ignored The Shadows's protests and gave Arvid Billock a yellow card for diving instead. Arvid Billock hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Yuma Suzuki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gerardo Sabin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jens Molander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ reached it. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Bock in the 79th minute of play. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ to win.
