In the 6th minute, Benê Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Belasko. Galáctico Azul FC™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Eulalio Vincent cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Serginho Taffarel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute, Benê Amorim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Belasko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Serginho Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaspar Magdaleno went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Albuquerque in the 22nd minute of play forced Galáctico Azul FC™'s goalkeeper Enrique Belasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benê Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Serginho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Vincent in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Vincent in the 26th minute of play forced MINEIROS's goalkeeper Serginho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Generoso Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Goiano in the 30th minute of play forced Galáctico Azul FC™'s goalkeeper Enrique Belasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gaspar Magdaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galáctico Azul FC™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Magdaleno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serginho Taffarel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 33 minutes, Nando Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MINEIROS and the Galáctico Azul FC™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, MINEIROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Leão to maneuver through the defense. Adan Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Taffarel having to interfere. Serginho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Magdaleno in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Generoso Michael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Serginho Taffarel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 3-3 became the score in the 43rd minute when Benê Amorim elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toninho Goiano made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, MINEIROS's Benê Amorim made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Belasko was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Galáctico Azul FC™'s Generoso Michael got a free kick in the 54th minute. Enrique Belasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benê Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. A collision led to Galáctico Azul FC™ getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Edelmiro Derwin hit a great ball. Guillermo Miliano's late challenge caught a MINEIROS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Miliano helped the player get up and apologised. Guillermo Miliano kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match Silvinho Brodel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Belasko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, MINEIROS's Serginho Taffarel got control of the ball when Generoso Michael tried to sneak it across the goal line. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Guillermo Miliano got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Guillermo Miliano off the ground. MINEIROS's Christian Fernandes was substituted for Nando Leão. In a very dangerous position, a player in Galáctico Azul FC™ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! After 70 played minutes Galáctico Azul FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Eguntsenti. Christian Fernandes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enrique Belasko. Galáctico Azul FC™'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Serginho Taffarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eulalio Vincent's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Michael came free, but Serginho Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Belasko came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by MINEIROS's Joel Quadros. But to his dismay, Joel Quadros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Enrique Belasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Amorim in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Galáctico Azul FC™ booed when MINEIROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Guerreiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Erasmo Mark from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Serginho Taffarel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Victor Bernabel charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Bernabel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Galáctico Azul FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Victor Bernabel. MINEIROS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
