Ruud van Nistelrooij could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Iraido Bertiz made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Valhalla Time's goal looked a bit too open when Apostolis Arvanitoyannis came free, but Iraido Bertiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 39th minute of play forced Valhalla Time's goalkeeper Iraido Bertiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Valhalla Time's Iraido Bertiz got control of the ball when Walery Soszka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robustiano Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. Iraido Bertiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 57th minute of the match.
