The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Š¢σяpiσиŠ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emílio Cordeiro should have stopped the shot. After 17 played minutes Espigão Steamrollers got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Sara. In the 19th minute, Rachman Eastwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Š¢σяpiσиŠ's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Azevedo came free, but Emílio Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Pablo Patrone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute of the match Š¢σяpiσиŠ got a corner. Espigão Steamrollers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amedeo Faccio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pablo Patrone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Faccio in the 29th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amedeo Faccio got free with Pablo Patrone in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roneixon Siqueira in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Cordeiro saved Š¢σяpiσиŠ from getting behind. Roneixon Siqueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emílio Cordeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roneixon Siqueira ran back to his position shaking his head. Emílio Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roneixon Siqueira in the 37th minute of the match. Roneixon Siqueira took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emílio Cordeiro. Emílio Cordeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 44th minute, Meriç Nurkan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pablo Patrone. The goal made the score 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rony Coelho to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Š¢σяpiσиŠ got a freekick which was hit by Niles Santos. Roneixon Siqueira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Emílio Cordeiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pablo Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Faccio in the 56th minute of play. Pablo Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niles Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emílio Cordeiro made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Roneixon Siqueira sent off a good shot on target. Emílio Cordeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roneixon Siqueira in the 65th minute. Emílio Cordeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roneixon Siqueira's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarcisio Galvão in the 84th minute of play forced Š¢σяpiσиŠ's goalkeeper Emílio Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Espigão Steamrollers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Patrone should have stopped the shot. Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Emílio Cordeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Š¢σяpiσиŠ from getting a goal against them. Bobby Moore's late challenge caught a Espigão Steamrollers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bobby Moore helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Š¢σяpiσиŠ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bobby Moore to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Cardozo in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Š¢σяpiσиŠ fully deserved thier win.
