Jairo de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of S.E. Pindorama Eagles booed when Villaverde Celeste Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Wawrukiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pasha Opara in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Villaverde Celeste Clube booed when S.E. Pindorama Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbson Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits van Gaal in the 27th minute of play. Inácio Ponta replaced Frits van Gaal. Romário Carvalho hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After the first half S.E. Pindorama Eagles were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ştefan Magheran made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Makaay came free, but Vassilis Nentakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nenko Reza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ştefan Magheran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ştefan Magheran managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but Ştefan Magheran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nenko Reza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nenko Reza came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Ştefan Magheran. But to his dismay, Ştefan Magheran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 69 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Nenko Reza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ştefan Magheran. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ştefan Magheran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Nenko Reza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Guo Ao fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villaverde Celeste Clube's protests and gave Guo Ao a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Guo Ao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd match minute, Villaverde Celeste Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Wawrukiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Wincent Poling missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 83 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Nenko Reza right hand side. After a rather tough play, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nicolai Otamendi got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the match was over S.E. Pindorama Eagles could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Villaverde Celeste Clube throughout the match.
