A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Wincenty Gardocki hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Artemio Perutxo in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Palestra do Interior's 吴洲坚. In the 36th minute of the game Artemio Perutxo made a throw-in which Bruninho Monteiro played forward. Palestra do Interior's Bruninho Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Ieltxu in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Bairoletto FC got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Perutxo. Bairoletto FC's Jurand Bryk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Lago in the 42nd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Modesto Ieltxu to make the kick off. After 59 minutes, Joselito Pedrosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bairoletto FC and the Palestra do Interior players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Joselito Pedrosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jurand Bryk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With a little luck, Palestra do Interior's Bruninho Vaz got control of the ball when Alonzo Mergildo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jurand Bryk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Lago in the 65th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Bairoletto FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Lastur. Palestra do Interior's Hudson Sergipano was substituted for Marzuki Papilaya. A collision led to Bairoletto FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Leonel Lastur hit a great ball. Palestra do Interior's attentive 吴洲坚 managed to snatch the ball when Joselito Pedrosa made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. Israel Sadurni got a throw-in 71 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Simon Richie. Palestra do Interior were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Bairoletto FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Moisés Matorin took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Eugênio Alagoano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jurand Bryk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jurand Bryk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Godoi's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Jurand Bryk came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi. But to his dismay, Paulo Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Bairoletto FC's Leonel Lastur got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 92nd match minute, Bairoletto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Richie to maneuver through the defense. Bairoletto FC's Jurand Bryk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Godoi in the 93rd minute of play. Leonel Lastur kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Palestra do Interior's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
