Imbituba - FSCMZ's Vítor Saraiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Imbituba - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Christian Proença notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Perthes United's Fabien Gury. Fabien Gury was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 16 played minutes Imbituba - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Lopes. Imbituba - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adalberto Vale in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maël Négrel in the 24th minute of play forced Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Vítor Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maël Négrel in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Christian Proença sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabien Gury narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Salomon Bertholet with Ange Folcher as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Christian Proença's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabien Gury read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Perthes United's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Proença came free, but Fabien Gury reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Perthes United defense, Christian Proença kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabien Gury. The Perthes United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabien Gury should have stopped the shot. Fabien Gury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Proença in the 46th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Perthes United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! After the first half Imbituba - FSCMZ were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Proença made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Proença to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Christian Proença ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabien Gury was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. After a rather tough play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Haroldo Lopes got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Christian Proença succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 67th playminute. 69 minutes into the game, Haroldo Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imbituba - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perthes United the free kick. After 70 played minutes Imbituba - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Lopes. Fabien Gury came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Imbituba - FSCMZ's Lúcio Proença. But to his dismay, Lúcio Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Lúcio Proença hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Christian Proença sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabien Gury narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Perthes United defense, Christian Proença kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabien Gury. The Perthes United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabien Gury should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Fabien Gury successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 88thth minute of the game Christian Proença who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perthes United's Fabien Gury was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Victor Fritsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rd minute, Christian Proença ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabien Gury was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. Christian Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
