FC STEAUA BUCURESTI's Manole Calomfirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Tinoco in the 11th minute of play. Válter Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Pintilie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Velicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Yetkin Hekim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manole Calomfirescu. FC STEAUA BUCURESTI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yetkin Hekim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Manole Calomfirescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Santana went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After the first half Jacuitiba - FSCMZ were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Donato Tinoco made the kick off in the second half. Ionuț Miclovan hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Donato Tinoco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manole Calomfirescu. FC STEAUA BUCURESTI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donato Tinoco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Donato Tinoco took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manole Calomfirescu. Manole Calomfirescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Donato Tinoco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Manole Calomfirescu made a huge save. With a little luck, FC STEAUA BUCURESTI's Manole Calomfirescu got control of the ball when Luiz Eduardo de Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th match minute, FC STEAUA BUCURESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Velicu to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC STEAUA BUCURESTI defense, Hugo Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manole Calomfirescu. The FC STEAUA BUCURESTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manole Calomfirescu should have stopped the shot. A very good opportunity. When the match was over Jacuitiba - FSCMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC STEAUA BUCURESTI throughout the match.
