FC STEAUA BUCURESTI's Manole Calomfirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pere in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Deportivo Pucho were awarded a corner. Severino Furman went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 22ndth minute of the game Carolo Gotzon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC STEAUA BUCURESTI's Manole Calomfirescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC STEAUA BUCURESTI's zone, Carolo Gotzon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manole Calomfirescu came out of the goal and Carolo Gotzon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Daniel Pere sped through FC STEAUA BUCURESTI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manole Calomfirescu. Manole Calomfirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pere, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 44th match minute, Deportivo Pucho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Videl to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Pintilie was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Deportivo Pucho getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Gerardo Pere hit a great ball. Gabriel Velicu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pucho's Daniel Pere nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manole Calomfirescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. With a little luck, FC STEAUA BUCURESTI's Manole Calomfirescu got control of the ball when Daniel Pere tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Daniel Pere ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manole Calomfirescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Pere during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marciano Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Pintilie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manole Calomfirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Gotzon in the 82nd minute of the match. If Ferdinand Vlădoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gabriel Velicu fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC STEAUA BUCURESTI's protests and gave Gabriel Velicu a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes FC STEAUA BUCURESTI got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Velicu. The FC STEAUA BUCURESTI fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Pucho were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
