Cezar Răuțu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Negrilă in the 3rd minute of play. Ilie Brumaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Gane in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Calistrat Dănescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rapiduletzu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Cosula-BTF- the free kick. After 14 played minutes Rapiduletzu got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Dănescu. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Rapiduletzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doru Pană didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Stoleru in the 17th minute of play. Ilie Brumaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Stoleru, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ilie Brumaru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florin Filip's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Ilie Brumaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horea Gane in the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Cătălin Becheanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rapiduletzu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Cosula-BTF- the free kick. In the 31st minute, Cătălin Becheanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihail Craia kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Sever Mărăscu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 minutes, Aurelian Giurcă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Cosula-BTF- and the Rapiduletzu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aurelian Giurcă hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Alex Stoleru made a precise shot to the right of Ilie Brumaru. FC Cosula-BTF-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cezar Răuțu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Hosu, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Rapiduletzu's Cezar Răuțu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Ailioaiei in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Adam Negrilă got a free kick in the 47th minute. When Rapiduletzu's Alex Stoleru in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Rapiduletzu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Stoleru to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Rapiduletzu defense, Dorin Nebunu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cezar Răuțu. The Rapiduletzu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cezar Răuțu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Negrilă in the 64th minute of play forced Rapiduletzu's goalkeeper Cezar Răuțu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorin Nebunu charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorin Nebunu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dorin Nebunu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Florin Filip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Rapiduletzu's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Mărăscu came free, but Cezar Răuțu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cezar Răuțu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filip Hosu went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Cezar Răuțu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Negrilă in the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Iurie Honciu got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Rapiduletzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Stroe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihail Craia charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihail Craia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rapiduletzu getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Mihail Craia hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
