In the 10th minute, Club Getafe Deportivo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Teodoro Raulo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 13th minute Malvinas Argentinas were awarded a corner. Damian Marquez went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Malvinas Argentinas's corner Ulises Hegoi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicolao Sampil quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Malvinas Argentinas defense, Marco-Antonio Beloki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Beltxe. The Malvinas Argentinas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Beltxe should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute, Malvinas Argentinas's Andres Goyo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Andres Goyo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Malvinas Argentinas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Andres Goyo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Andres Goyo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Amador Christobal fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malvinas Argentinas's protests and gave Amador Christobal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Amador Christobal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batista Mala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After recieving a nice pass, Malvinas Argentinas's Damian Marquez tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cedro Palencia hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Fausto Beltxe came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Getafe Deportivo's Marco-Antonio Beloki. But to his dismay, Marco-Antonio Beloki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 37 minutes of play, Club Getafe Deportivo's Batista Mala made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Beltxe was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the game, Club Getafe Deportivo's Roldán Martinez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Beltxe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 43rd match minute, Club Getafe Deportivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodas Pujol to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Club Getafe Deportivo were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dante Quinten was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Malvinas Argentinas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Batista Mala fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Club Getafe Deportivo booed when Malvinas Argentinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Raulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Xusto Saavedra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Batista Mala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Beltxe. Malvinas Argentinas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Batista Mala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Fausto Beltxe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Batista Mala went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 74th match minute, Club Getafe Deportivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xusto Saavedra to maneuver through the defense. Damian Marquez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicolao Sampil. Club Getafe Deportivo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fausto Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco-Antonio Beloki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cedro Palencia took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Beltxe. Fausto Beltxe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. In the 84th minute Ermegildo Afonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolao Sampil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cedro Palencia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Beltxe having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Malvinas Argentinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Hegoi to maneuver through the defense. Club Getafe Deportivo played a much better game than Malvinas Argentinas and deserved their victory. The Malvinas Argentinas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
