The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ruben Tauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themis Charos in the 6th minute of play. Emiliano Orkatz kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Emiliano Orkatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nasos Pliatsikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paris Kessaris kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Flores in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nasos Pliatsikas saved ARION F.C. Lesvos from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Carrizal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Themis Charos came free, but Ruben Tauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Paris Kessaris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Carrizal FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Francisco Suero hit a great ball. Themis Lagonidis had several of the Carrizal FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ruben Tauro as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Victor Romero fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrizal FC's protests and gave Victor Romero a yellow card for diving instead. Victor Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Themis Lagonidiss short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Ruben Tauro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 39 played minutes Carrizal FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Ramirez. After 44 minutes, Themis Charos made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Carrizal FC's Ruben Tauro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Themis Charos made the kick off in the second half. Carrizal FC's Ruben Tauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Zachariadis in the 52nd minute of play. Ruben Tauro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Botonakis went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ruben Tauro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Themis Charos went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, Themis Charos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Tauro was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristobal Ebardo during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 played minutes Carrizal FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Ebardo. Ruben Tauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themis Lagonidis in the 71st minute of play. During the 72nd minute of the match Santos Ramirez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Santos Ramirez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of ARION F.C. Lesvos booed when Carrizal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carrizal FC's zone, Themis Charos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Tauro came out of the goal and Themis Charos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carrizal FC's Ruben Tauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themis Charos in the 76th minute of play. Marios Sotiriou took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruben Tauro. Ruben Tauro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Ruben Tauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Themis Lagonidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The supporters of ARION F.C. Lesvos booed when Carrizal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre George didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carrizal FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Themis Lagonidis was slow to take the kick. During this time ARION F.C. Lesvos's players had a chance to rest. Themis Lagonidis made a great header on ARION F.C. Lesvos's corner, it was just that Carrizal FC's Ruben Tauro managed to reach the ball for a save. Ruben Tauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandros Zachariadis in the 89th minute of the match. Ruben Tauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alekos Iordanopoulos in the 91st minute of play. Carrizal FC's Ruben Tauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Zachariadis in the 92nd minute of play. Ruben Tauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themis Charos in the 94th minute of the match. ARION F.C. Lesvos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
