With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elvis Bansemir in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelino Raulo saved La Zabaleta from getting behind. Karsten Belzner hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Donautal's Roman Bock got a free kick in the 21st minute. Fausto Oxel's late challenge caught a FC Donautal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Oxel helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, La Zabaleta's Angelino Raulo got control of the ball when Roman Bock tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FC Donautal booed when La Zabaleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Hibai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Waidner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Angelino Raulo made a huge save. Elvis Bansemir might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelino Raulo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elvis Bansemir ran back to his position shaking his head. Angelino Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvis Bansemir in the 58th minute of the match. Romulo Hibai charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romulo Hibai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Angelino Raulo went to the wrong direction when Erhard Brillen was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. During the 72nd minute of the match Fausto Oxel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fausto Oxel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
