After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Cullen Reichelt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Titipounamu's supporters rose to their feet, but Cullen Reichelt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastián Dell´Orto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastián Dell´Orto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Gorham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

If Benjamín Casas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Orden hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Marcos Soffia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donovan Kaine in the 63rd minute of play forced Tabalongo AFC's goalkeeper Sebastián Dell´Orto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Velasco Neil during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Titipounamu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benjamín Casas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Craig Argoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Soffia in the 85th minute of play. Sebastián Dell´Orto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Gorham in the 87th minute of play. When the match was over Tabalongo AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Titipounamu throughout the match.
