Radu Siniştean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Maximo Karmel made a huge save. After 8 played minutes Adam Ghimiș rounded Chamaicó's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Pompiliu Constantiniu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maximo Karmel firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Sever Gâfu hit a great ball. Cristinel Alexe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Manuel Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Champions Iasi's Adam Ghimiș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximo Karmel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Champions Iasi booed when Chamaicó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Manuel Blanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Filomeno Gonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamaicó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Gonzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute Miguel Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Alexe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Chamaicó were awarded a corner. Juan Manuel Blanco went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Juan Manuel Blanco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Champions Iasi's Cristinel Alexe did a great save. When Chamaicó's Filomeno Gonzo in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Ghimiș to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Filomeno Gonzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cristinel Alexe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 53 minutes into the game, Miguel Lartaun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristinel Alexe. Miguel Lartaun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 56 minutes into the match, Ciro Paublo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristinel Alexe, 2-3. In the 60th minute, Chamaicó's Filomeno Gonzo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Leonard Cozma hit a great ball. Cristinel Alexe made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Juan Manuel Blanco sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute of the match, Miguel Lartaun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristinel Alexe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Lartaun in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristinel Alexe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Champions Iasi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Juan Manuel Blanco scored to the left of an out of position Cristinel Alexe, making the score, 2-5. Filomeno Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Ghimiș might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Karmel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Ghimiș ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute, Sever Gâfu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Miguel Lartaun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chamaicó's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Lartaun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristinel Alexe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristinel Alexe made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Juan Manuel Blanco sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute Adam Ghimiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Manuel Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Marin Petruescu hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Răzvan Postolache during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chamaicó booed when Champions Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Postolache didn't get a good kick on the ball.
