Despite this Gabriel Paiva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 12th minute, Thiago Rosado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th minute Flávio do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oswaldo Neves hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio do Vale came free, but Gabriel Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Waldemar Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute of the match, Flávio do Vale tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gabriel Paiva saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 66 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matanza and Steelers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nhungarinthians the free kick.
