Damian Penczkowski hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Slawomir Bambas during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Slawomir Bambas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Nhungarinthians booed when Inter Miami was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patryk Banaszak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 minutes, Ksawery Porajewski made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Nhungarinthians's Wilian Baptista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Fontes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inter Miami's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nhungarinthians the free kick. After 87 played minutes Inter Miami got a freekick which was hit by Roland Jucha. Inter Miami's Wojciech Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Fontes in the 89th minute of play. Ksawery Porajewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edinho Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Inter Miami's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
