Baldomiro Belo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomiro Belo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carlos Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisinho Mattos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's Baldomiro Belo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Prado in the 52nd minute of play. Baldomiro Belo was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Luisinho Mattos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luisinho Mattos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Laerte de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Edwardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Luisinho Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, F.C. Carmo De Kiev's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Edwardo came free, but Laerte de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to F.C. Carmo De Kiev getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Emerson Prado hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Artemio Edwardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of MARITO FUTBOL CLUB booed when F.C. Carmo De Kiev was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséias Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, F.C. Carmo De Kiev's Thiago Arantes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Baldomiro Belo made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Carlos Recife in the 85th minute. The MARITO FUTBOL CLUB supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching F.C. Carmo De Kiev's performance. The match ended with a win for F.C. Carmo De Kiev.
