Ismail Köhler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ismail Köhler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korneliusz Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Wigalf Lilleike had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Peter. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wigalf Lilleike was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Korneliusz Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismail Köhler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Korneliusz Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. De Gulden Draak's Ismail Köhler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Barna in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, De Gulden Draak's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Barna came free, but Ismail Köhler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ronald Breitbücher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korneliusz Barna in the 26th minute of play forced De Gulden Draak's goalkeeper Ismail Köhler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismail Köhler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Korneliusz Barna went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Xerxes Doro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Korneliusz Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismail Köhler having to make a save. 34 minutes into the match, De Gulden Draak's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Barna came free, but Ismail Köhler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. De Gulden Draak's Ismail Köhler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Barna in the 37th minute of play. Ismail Köhler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korneliusz Barna in the 43rd minute of the match. Heinrich Rittmann came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Flavio Peter could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in De Gulden Draak's zone, Xerxes Doro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismail Köhler came out of the goal and Xerxes Doro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xerxes Doro to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Korneliusz Barna made a precise shot to the right of Ismail Köhler. De Gulden Draak's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Flavio Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfred Seuß, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Korneliusz Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismail Köhler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korneliusz Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismail Köhler having to make a save. Ismail Köhler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korneliusz Barna in the 69th minute of the match. Konstantin Havemann kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. De Gulden Draak's Ismail Köhler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Barna in the 74th minute of play. Korneliusz Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ismail Köhler threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Korneliusz Barna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Korneliusz Barna in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismail Köhler saved De Gulden Draak from getting behind. In the 83rd match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tauro Doro to maneuver through the defense. Ismail Köhler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerxes Doro in the 85th minute of play. Xerxes Doro kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Ronald Breitbücher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Korneliusz Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Korneliusz Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Korneliusz Barna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismail Köhler was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, Korneliusz Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismail Köhler. De Gulden Draak's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Korneliusz Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
