In the 7th minute, Olgierd Poling left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Niwnice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 15th minute Olgierd Poling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Cociubei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Niwnice:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dinamo Botosani-BTF:s goal. After 18 minutes Niwnice's goalkeeper Tobiasz Rakowski managed, with a little bit of luck, save Edgar Hănescu's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 21 minutes into the match, Niwnice's goal looked a bit too open when Cătălin Mortu came free, but Tobiasz Rakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Dinamo Botosani-BTF's goal looked a bit too open when Olgierd Poling came free, but Emanuel Cociubei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Olgierd Poling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Cociubei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Emanuel Cociubei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Zagrobelny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Marian Zagrobelny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Cociubei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobiasz Rakowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Mortu in the 31st minute of play. Tobiasz Rakowski came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo Botosani-BTF's Cătălin Mortu. But to his dismay, Cătălin Mortu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ludomil Kosowski took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Cociubei. Emanuel Cociubei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Niwnice's Sebastian Niemoj managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dumitru Contra in the 40 minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Dinamo Botosani-BTF's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Zagrobelny came free, but Emanuel Cociubei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Marian Zagrobelny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Cociubei was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Dinamo Botosani-BTF's Emanuel Cociubei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Poling in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horaţiu Buciu was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Niwnice's Ludomil Kosowski got a free kick in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Niwnice getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Marian Zagrobelny hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Niwnice's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Hănescu came free, but Tobiasz Rakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horaţiu Buciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tobiasz Rakowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Macarie in the 61st minute of play. Olgierd Poling kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Tobiasz Rakowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Mortu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Olgierd Poling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Emanuel Cociubei made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Niwnice's Marian Zagrobelny ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emanuel Cociubei. Emanuel Cociubei yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Ksawery Cwenar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 minutes of play, Niwnice's Olgierd Poling made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Cociubei was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dinamo Botosani-BTF's Emanuel Cociubei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Dinamo Botosani-BTF from getting a goal against them. Cătălin Mortu struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Tobiasz Rakowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dinamo Botosani-BTF. Ksawery Cwenar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Emanuel Cociubei made a huge save. Gigi Macarie kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
