After 19 minutes, José Pena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ostrália and the Pil SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ostrália's José Pena got a free kick in the 19th minute. Simon Dalgren in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gernando Arce, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Orvar Skarkman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson de Medeiros in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Ostrália were awarded a corner. Paulo Renato Nogueira went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Ostrália's Fausto Aparecido getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Pil SK's Simon Dalgren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gernando Arce. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Ostrália's José Pena got a free kick in the 36th minute. A collision led to Pil SK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Simon Dalgren hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Simon Dalgren made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Pil SK got a freekick which was hit by Simon Dalgren. When Marcus Joensson fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pil SK's protests and gave Marcus Joensson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Pil SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Joensson to maneuver through the defense. Orvar Skarkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Simon Dalgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match Pil SK got a corner. Ostrália's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Konrad Bure ran over to the corner to take the kick. Konrad Bure received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gernando Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Pil SK's goalkeeper Orvar Skarkman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emerson de Medeiros. When the referee blew the final whistle, Pil SK could leave the field as winners, despite Ostrália having more of the ball for most of the match.
