Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) 9 minutes into the match, Ralf Moorhouse notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Palmeiras de Plantão's Ademar Mangueira. Ademar Mangueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute of the match Adrianinho Domingues sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Crispin Sherwood skillfully saved the ball. After 16 minutes of play, Palmeiras de Plantão's Caio Paulista made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Crispin Sherwood was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastian Speed's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ademar Mangueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Sebastian Speed reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ademar Mangueira. The goal made the score 2-1. The supporters of Palmeiras de Plantão booed when Ampthill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Speed didn't get a good kick on the ball. Crispin Sherwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Paulista in the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Caio Paulista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Crispin Sherwood was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Speed during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th minute of the match José Augusto Viana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Crispin Sherwood showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Speed made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Palmeiras de Plantão's zone, Sebastian Speed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ademar Mangueira came out of the goal and Sebastian Speed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Augusto Viana struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Crispin Sherwood didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmeiras de Plantão. After 68 minutes, Jânio Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmeiras de Plantão and the Ampthill FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Palmeiras de Plantão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jânio Almeida to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Palmeiras de Plantão's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Speed came free, but Ademar Mangueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Speed got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 87th minute, Sebastian Speed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 minutes, Ralf Moorhouse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ampthill FC and the Palmeiras de Plantão players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ampthill FC's Crispin Sherwood proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Ampthill FC from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Palmeiras de Plantão left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ampthill FC.
