Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Giovanni Prata made the kick off and thus started the match. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Scott Bradbury put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vito Paulista. With a little luck, Locomotiva grena's Vito Paulista got control of the ball when Sid Mason tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th minute, Osvaldo Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Scott Bradbury scored 2-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vito Paulista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute Osvaldo Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kris Fletcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Giovanni Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Locomotiva grena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giovanni Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Ball's late challenge caught a Locomotiva grena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Ball helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Locomotiva grena got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Prata. With a little luck, Locomotiva grena's Vito Paulista got control of the ball when Scott Bradbury tried to sneak it across the goal line. Scott Bradbury took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vito Paulista. Vito Paulista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Sid Mason's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito Paulista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Scott Bradbury made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Sid Mason had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vito Paulista. Locomotiva grena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sid Mason was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After 61 played minutes Locomotiva grena got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo de Barros. Sid Mason might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vito Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sid Mason ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute, Giovanni Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Locomotiva grena defense, Sid Mason kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vito Paulista. The Locomotiva grena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vito Paulista should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, El Expreso's Kris Fletcher got control of the ball when Giovanni Prata tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vito Paulista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sid Mason went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Sid Mason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that El Expreso were the better team. El Expreso's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
