In the 22nd minute Feliberto Selatse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Crâșmaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, SuperDepor's Cosmin Huțupan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efrain Pueblo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marin Berceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd match minute, C.A.MALVINAS.ARG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Eguntsenti to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victoriano Abastas was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to C.A.MALVINAS.ARG getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Fernando Ordono hit a great ball. SuperDepor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, SuperDepor's Narcis Baniu got a free kick in the 54th minute. C.A.MALVINAS.ARG's Efrain Pueblo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.MALVINAS.ARG from getting a goal against them. Feliberto Selatse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alex Crâșmaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cosmin Huțupan fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SuperDepor's protests and gave Cosmin Huțupan a yellow card for diving instead. Cosmin Huțupan hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, SuperDepor's Efrain Pueblo threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dan Muscaș, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The corner led SuperDepor's Dinu Mardarescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Efrain Pueblo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dan Muscaș's late challenge caught a C.A.MALVINAS.ARG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Muscaș helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SuperDepor getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Dan Muscaș hit a great ball. Feliberto Selatse kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to C.A.MALVINAS.ARG getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Leonardo Froylan hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, SuperDepor's Marius Ichimescu tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alex Crâșmaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Selatse, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Cosmin Huțupan got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 88th minute, Cosmin Huțupan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Froylan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alex Crâșmaru. SuperDepor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
