With a left leg Gavino Bras saved Yaji FC from getting behind. 9 minutes into the match, Yaji FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Ramirez came free, but Gavino Bras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Aristeo Abrego managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Boiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristeo Abrego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, CD Boiro's Alf Zachrisson got a free kick in the 15th minute. Gavino Bras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Ramirez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yaji FC's Jimeno Montrel pulled a muscle in his back after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Jerrold Valdivia fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Boiro's protests and gave Jerrold Valdivia a yellow card for diving instead. Yaji FC made a substitution. Cecilio Izel replaced Jimeno Montrel. Jerrold Valdivia kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of CD Boiro booed when Yaji FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Blasi. After 32 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Johans. In the 39th minute, Aristeo Abrego ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavino Bras was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Yaji FC's Gavino Bras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristeo Abrego in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elixio Lacorte to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Izel. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Cecilio Izel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaji FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Izel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walme Ortega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Prospero Francesco came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Yaji FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Francesco couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the CD Boiro defense, Cecilio Izel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walme Ortega. The CD Boiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walme Ortega should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the game, Estefan Canosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Boiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yaji FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, CD Boiro's Estefan Canosa got a free kick in the 65th minute. The referee ignored Yaji FC's protests and gave Rogelio Jenaro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Rogelio Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
