Florentino Arano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ion De la Rosa in the 20th minute of play. Florentino Arano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion De la Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 27th minute Arnulfo Oriol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Parrales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Gil came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Florentino Arano could save by the left post. Rosario Parrales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Oriol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrei Gil made a kick off. Arnulfo Oriol had several of the Club Deportivo O IRIXO's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Rosario Parrales as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 64th minute Julen Solera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Arano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosario Parrales made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Maximo Miro sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the match, Andrei Gil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florentino Arano. Juventus Argentina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Gil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With an all-out effort, Juventus Argentina FC's Rosario Parrales threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximo Miro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Julen Solera hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Andrei Gil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Juventus Argentina FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Juventus Argentina FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
