Gert Arvidsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudiu Cantemir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute Andréas Sundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Cantemir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Ogică came free, but Jörgen Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Andréas Sundin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kent Carlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Claudiu Cantemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörgen Lundqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horia Miclescu's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andréas Sundin in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudiu Cantemir saved PamantDeFlori from getting behind. Horia Miclescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jörgen Lundqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rasmus Colin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andréas Sundin in the 40th minute of play forced PamantDeFlori's goalkeeper Claudiu Cantemir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andréas Sundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Cantemir having to interfere. When Melchester Rovers's Andréas Sundin in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PamantDeFlori's goalie prevented a goal. Kent Carlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claudiu Cantemir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Allbom in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andréas Sundin made a kick off. Andréas Sundin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Claudiu Cantemir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Melchester Rovers's Sonny Allbom in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PamantDeFlori's goalie prevented a goal. Claudiu Cantemir was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kent Carlberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 55 minute of play. If Horia Miclescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to PamantDeFlori getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Dan Ogică hit a great ball. A hard shot by Kent Carlberg from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Claudiu Cantemir's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andréas Sundin in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudiu Cantemir saved PamantDeFlori from getting behind. Andréas Sundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Cantemir having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Carlberg in the 82nd minute of play forced PamantDeFlori's goalkeeper Claudiu Cantemir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melchester Rovers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fredric Lingren in the 83rd minute. The corner led Melchester Rovers's Fredric Lingren to fire away a dangerous shot which Claudiu Cantemir despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dan Ogică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Lundqvist having to interfere. Andréas Sundin took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudiu Cantemir. Claudiu Cantemir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Melchester Rovers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Melchester Rovers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
