The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 23rd minute Leon Falk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Majorski kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Olaf Pankiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Pires in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Vágner Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ultrasy's Olaf Pankiewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ultrasy's Olaf Pankiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Lara in the 41st minute of play. The Esquadrão do Guarana DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Esquadrão do Guarana DMZ's Adhemar Alves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Adhemar Alvess short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Olaf Pankiewicz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an all-out effort, Esquadrão do Guarana DMZ's Olaf Pankiewicz threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernando Lara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eugênio Travassos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olaf Pankiewicz. Ultrasy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Ultrasy's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Lara came free, but Olaf Pankiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esquadrão do Guarana DMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugênio Travassos in the 92nd minute. Fernando Lara's late challenge caught a Ultrasy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Lara helped the player get up and apologised. Fernando Lara hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Vágner Pires took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olaf Pankiewicz. Olaf Pankiewicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Esquadrão do Guarana DMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
